Hotel Room Booking Information
SMA 2011 will be held at the Hyatt Regency, Savannah, Georgia (Two West Bay Street). Uniquely situated directly on River Front Plaza, the newly restyled Hyatt offers unequalled access to the Historic District, shops, entertainment, and business centers. SMA has contracted for sleeping rooms for Tuesday, November 8 – Saturday, November 12 at special rates as follows:
Single Occupancy $132 Double Occupancy $132 Triple Occupancy $147 Quadruple Occupancy $162 River View Rooms $182
The hotel has agreed to honor these rates for the nights of 11/6, 11/7, 11/13, 11/14, and 11/15, based upon availability. Or, you may call 1-888-421-1442 and ask to make reservations for the Southern Management Association 2011 Conference at the special group rate.
The cut-off date for reservations is October 15, 2011. However please note that a limited number of rooms are available at this discounted rate, and these may sell out before the cutoff date, so you are encouraged to book your room as soon as possible

SMA has arranged an overflow hotel option with the Holiday Inn Express Historic District (199 East Bay Street), adjacent and a block or so from the Hyatt Regency. Holiday Inn is offering rates for SMA 2011 attendees of $136 single/double for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and $176 single/double for Friday and Saturday evenings. To make reservations, please call the hotel directly at 912-231-9000. Ask for "Reservations" and then "the SMA 2011 group rate". The cutoff date for making your reservations at this overflow hotel is Monday, October 10, 2011.
